They do this to ensure you get the attention you deserve for your wedding. Miranda and Julie have been working closely together since 2007. They were roommates in college and have found a passion in the wedding business. I started After the Diamond in 2005 to pursue a dream. As I have progressed, I have learned so much from my research and speaking with other consultants. Everything that I have learned and experienced has made me so excited that I have pursued this dream.I joined the Association of Bridal Consultants in January of 2006. I have attended several training seminars. I have achieve the designation from a Novice level to a Consultant level. This organization has helped and will continue to help me grow and learn through education seminars, unbiased advice, and an endless network of other consultants and wedding vendors. I also meet with vendors to learn about the business they are marketing. Learning about their business will help me to refer the right vendors to you.Introducing Julie Ondo...For a natural planner, organizer and creative individual, wedding consulting is a dream position. Working daily with interior and kitchen design clients has only helped to fuel the creative fire, and wedding planning is the perfect outlet to assist in creating and executing our clients' dreams. I began with After the Diamond in 2007 with the day-of coordination of Miranda's wedding. I was hooked after that.In addition to interior design and wedding consulting, I dabble in scrapbooking, quilting, calligraphy, sketching and painting. My husband and I were married in Hilton Head Island, SC in 2005 and I still haven't stopped buying wedding magazines.To see the look on a bride's face at the end of a stress-free wedding day is my personal goal, and we will do whatever it takes to get to that point.

DollarsAndCents $100 for consultation and recommendation of vendorsThis consultation will include 2 sessions at your convenience. Miranda will work with you to help you identify awesome vendors, develop unique ideas, create a detailed plan, and/or work on any other wedding related tasks that you would like assistance with. Each session will be approximately one hour. $895 for wedding day coordinationThis service includes three consultations prior to the event date, coordination of the rehearsal, and day of coordination. Miranda and Julie will be begin setting up for your wedding early in the morning. Our day will be filled with executing every detail of your vision. We will ensure a timeline is adhered to, vendors are energized and ready to go, guests are smiling, and the bride and groom are enjoying each moment. We will get everything set up, decorated, and in place, so that when you walk down the aisle your vision is your reality. After the major reception events are concluded (usually, the special dances), we will head home knowing that your day was a beautiful success. $1750 for full serviceThis service also includes three consultations prior to the event date, rehearsal coordination, and day of coordination. We will travel with you to look at wedding dresses or to various vendors as needed (and upon availability). We will work with you to add creative touches to your wedding and find vendors to suit your needs. This full service also includes inspiration boards, budgeting, organizational assistance (seating charts, invitations, etc.), a full review of contracts, ideas to reduce costs, and much more. We will do anything that we can to make your wedding day spectacular! We have picked up macaroons in Chicago for a bride, hung Japanese lanterns from trees, fired and replaced a vendor on behalf of a bride one week prior to the wedding, discussed invitees with parents, and so much more. We will do whatever we can to ensure a stress-free and beautiful wedding for the bride and groom. On the day of the event, Miranda and Julie will be begin setting up for your wedding early in the morning. Your wedding day will be so busy with hair appointments, pictures, and last minute errands. Our job is to help you with anything you may need. We will make sure that everyone is where they need to be, when they need to be there. We will make sure everyone has been paid, your cake has been delivered, and your venues are decorated. So, when it comes time for you to walk down the aisle, you can rest assured that everything has gone according to plan. After the major reception events are concluded (usually, the special dances), we ensure you don't need anything else, give you a big hug and head home to reminisce and discuss what a beautiful vision we had the opportunity to execute.$250 for clean upThis service will take care of any necessary cleanup at the end of the evening. Decorations will be packed up, chairs will be stacked, cars will be loaded, and the newlyweds, parents, family and friends won't have to worry about a thing. A pet peeve for After the Diamond is seeing cleanup started at events before the event has ended. Miranda and Julie will NOT begin any cleanup until the lights are turned on at the end of the evening and the reception is officially over. We want you and your guests to enjoy the evening and not feel like the evening is coming to an end before you are ready. (Note: After the Diamond does not handle movement of gifts due to liability but we will coordinate this activity.)$450 for special eventsThis service will cover up to 10 hours of consulting, decorating, and clean-up for special events including bridal showers, engagement parties, bachelorette parties, baby showers, house warming's, and holiday events.
